Every tattoo starts with a story.
Below you'll find everything you need to know about the process, pricing and what to expect.

Every meaningful tattoo starts with a conversation.
Whether your idea is fully developed or just a rough concept, I'd love to hear it.
It is essential that you include your contact information, your idea, reference photos and a photo of the location on your body where you want the tattoo.
We make sure to respond to emails as soon as possible. Please be patient and we will reply to you as soon as we can.

Getting a tattoo should be exciting, not stressful. Every project starts with a conversation. My goal is to understand your story and create something that feels uniquely yours.
Your Tattoo Idea
When reaching out, please include:
A description of your tattoo idea. Tell me your story, meaning and the kind of emotion you would like to capture.
Any reference images that capture the style, atmosphere or details you enjoy. These don't have to be tattoo references. Artwork, sculptures, photographs, nature, your own sketches or anything that will help communicate your vision.
A clear photo of the area where you'd like the tattoo.
Original Designs
Every tattoo I create is designed specifically for the individual wearing it.
I don't reproduce or copy another artist's tattoo. If you have a tattoo you admire, I'd rather understand what you love about it and create something original inspired by those qualities.
Some of my favorite tattoos started from a vague idea, a childhood memory, or even a single photograph. You don't need to have everything figured out. That's what we'll do together.
The Right Fit
Not every project is the right fit for every artist.
Before scheduling an appointment, I will review your idea to make sure we're a good match. If I believe I'm the right person to bring your vision to life, we'll discuss pricing, scheduling and the next steps.
Design Process
Your design is created at the beginning of your appointment, allowing us to make adjustments in real time. This process usually takes around 1-2 hours and is a part of the session's time.
For larger or more complex projects, the first session may focus primarily on designing and planning. That time is billed at the same rate as tattooing.

Ihor's rate depends on a project.
Tiny tattoos: (3 hour sessions) - $1,200. For each additional hour - $300.
Small projects: (1-3 full-day sessions) - $2,500 per session
Medium projects: half sleeve, chest panel (4-7 full-day sessions) - $2,250 per session.
Large projects: full sleeve, back piece, front panel (8-15 full-day sessions) - $2,000 per session.
Ihor's average session is around 8 hours. Starting at 11am till 7pm. That time includes designing and one lunch break.
A deposit of $500 is required to secure your appointment. The deposit will be applied to the final tattoo session, if the project requires multiple sessions.
Payments for tattoo sessions are due at the end of the session.
Ihor expects all large projects to be completed in one year. After that, the rate might be adjusted. Please plan your sessions accordingly.
For payments Ihor accepts cash and card. For card payments a 3% processing fee will be added to the total payment. Cash payments do not have any additional charge.
Deposits are non-refundable. The deposit can be paid in cash or by card online.
Once we agree on all the details regarding your tattoo project, we will send you the invoice for the deposit.
If you need to change the date of your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances - please let us know at least 7 days prior to the session, so we can rearrange our schedules.
A new deposit will be required to continue working together, if you cancel or reschedule with less than 7 days notice.
You can reschedule your appointment only once without losing your deposit.

Here is the address of the studio:
520 E Oltorf St, Ste B, Austin, TX 78704 - Bougie Bougie Tattoo
The tattoo session will usually start at 11am and end at 7pm. That time includes designing and one lunch break.
Clients only. Every appointment is one-on-one. The studio is reserved exclusively for each client, allowing us to focus entirely on your tattoo without interruptions.
Please do not drink alcohol for several days prior to your session - this may cause excessive bleeding during the session and cause an issue with the healing process.
Make sure to be well-rested before coming into the appointment and eat a meal beforehand to prevent low blood sugar issues.
Make sure to wear comfortable clothing that helps with the tattooing process. If you're getting a tattoo on your arm - a tank-top or sleeveless t-shirt will be helpful. If you're getting a tattoo on your leg - it's best to wear shorts.
If you are late, please inform us via email. If you're more than 15 minutes late without notification, the session will be canceled and you'll need to pay a new deposit to continue working with Ihor.
If you do not show up for the appointment - you will lose your deposit and we will not be able to work together.

Prior to the session, please warn us about any health problems, allergies and contraindications.
For your protection and the safety of others, please notify us ahead of time, if you have felt ill or been exposed to other individuals showing symptoms of illness within the past 14 days.
If you show any active symptoms like sneezing or coughing, we will assist you with rescheduling your appointment.
To make sure the studio is clean and sanitary, we ask to not bring animals with you to the session.
